Built by students.
Aimed at a fairer system.

Access 2 Justice exists to make legal knowledge understandable, accessible, and empowering for every undergraduate student.

Our Story

Access 2 Justice began as a small group of University of Calgary students who believed that legal knowledge should not be reserved for those already inside the profession.

What started as conversations between students evolved into workshops, partnerships, mentorship opportunities, and community initiatives designed to make the law easier to understand and easier to access.

Today, we continue building a community where every student feels confident navigating legal systems and advocating for themselves and others.

Our Mission

  • Demystify legal systems through plain-language education.
  • Connect students with legal clinics, mentors and community resources.
  • Promote legal literacy across Calgary.
  • Create opportunities for students to advocate for accessible justice.
