Our Story

Why A2J was created.

Access 2 Justice began with a simple idea: legal knowledge should not only become important when someone enters law school or finds themselves facing a legal problem.

The law shapes everyday life — our workplaces, housing, education, businesses, rights, responsibilities and communities.

A2J was created to make those conversations easier to access while giving undergraduate students meaningful ways to learn, volunteer, build skills and contribute to the community.

We bring students together with professionals, organizations and community partners to learn about the systems that shape everyday life and help make those systems easier to understand.
